Model 1892 John Wayne Anniversary
The John Wayne 100th Anniversary High Grade Winchester Model 1892 is a limited edition of only 4,000 units and the first 1,000 are offered as a part of a matched set with the Custom Grade model. The short 18 1/2" barrel features John Wayne's signature and the ladder style carbine rear sight is fully adjustable. In addition, the two silver nickel barrel bands match the receiver and the right side of the scroll engraved silver nickel nitride receiver comes with Wayne's portrait, initials and a flowing banner with the following words: "Courage, Strength, Grit." To add an elegance note to this commemorative rifle, Winchester added a deeply blued loading gate and action screws.
