Winchester 1885 Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Launched


Winchester recently announced the single shot lever action 1885 Black Powder Cartridge rifle that is offered with a steel receiver and case colored. The rear tang is drilled and tapped for installing a sight. The barrel of the 1885 is medium gloss blued, features a badger half round and half octagon 30”. The gun is available with an oil finish stock and Grade III/IV walnut. The rifle features a Schnabel forearm and a Creedmore style stock.

 

The rifle comes with ¼ M.O.A. windage adjustments and ½ M.O.A. elevation adjustments with ½’ total elevation adjustment. The soule windage style Creedmore rear sight is precision machined from steel. The spirit level aids the hunter to keep the Black Powder Cartridge upright thus eliminating tilting inaccuracies. The Black Powder Cartridge Rifle with case coloring on receiver, lever and buttplate.
