Limited Edition Ruger 77/22

When limited editions are released, gun experts sit up and take notice and that has certainly been the case following Lipsey's announcement of the Ruger Stainless International 77/22. What sets this weapon apart from the regular designs is the addition of a check Mannlicher styled full-length American walnut stock together with a hooded front sight and a folding rear sight.

With an 18.5 inch barrel and weighing in at an amazingly light 6 pounds, it is likely that these precious few models will be snapped up sharpish and are expected to be shifted for around $600-$700. Sometimes there is a feeling that limited editions are created simply for the sake of it, knowing that those with a taste for collecting will make a purchase no matter what, but this version of the 77/22 really does offer the hunter an excellent alternative.
