No.1 Light Sporter
The Ruger Light Sporter is a single-shot rifle that has a very robust and sturdy, sculptured receiver that forms a rigid support for the stock, barrel and the sliding breech block. Similar with other models developed by Ruger, it comes with a patented proprietary mounting system that has quarter-rib integral scopes. The model has an ejector mechanism that ensures maximum leverage at the point where the ejector engages the cartridge case. It also features an Alexander Henry-style forend, sling swivel studs, along with a grip cap and a sporting-style buttpad.
