The Winchester Deluxe Featherweight has an engraved "2008 Model 70 Limited Edition" floorplate and a premium Pachmayr Decelerator pad that significantly reduces the felt recoil. It boosts an elegant angled-comb Grade II walnut stock that features the Schnabel forend and satin finish with elegant cut checkering as well as a sculpted cheekpiece. The MOA trigger system has zero take-up, zero overtravel and zero creep. This Deluxe Featherweight is offered with a pre '64-style controller-round feeding, a classic three-position safety and is highlighted by a exquisite jewel bolt body with knurled bolt handle.
