The Ruger 10/22 Sporter comes with an easy to use extended magazine release that guarantee a smooth and no-fuss removal of the flush mounted magazine (without exposing the magazine to dent). It also has a heat-stabilized, glass-filled polymer trigger housing assembly that has been precision-made out of high-tech materials for improving manufacturing tolerances, as well as resistance to impact and/or abrasion. It features blade, gold bead front sights, along with adjustable and folding rear sights.

Absolutely love it. My personal recommendation is replacement of open sight for an Adjustable Aperture Receiver Rear Sight. Action tends to be a little bit stiff at first and smooths out after about 500 rds. It's not a Prom Queen; It's a Work Horse. 5-stars Rating.

bought it last june and used it for bear hunting. i'm not a very good hunter but i really don't have to as the gun does the job for me. that heat-stabilized trigger is awesome. can't fault!
