Brunton Rifle Scopes

The Brunton long and prolific story began in the end of the 19th, to be more specific in 1894, when the avid outdoorsman and geologist-turned inventor, D.W. Brunton began to design equipment for outdoor professionals. His innovative approach called for lightweight gear that came with durability. This ingenuity catapulted his unique products to the forefront of American outdoor equipment. The Brunton Company has taken a concrete shape as a brand for the avid adventurer, including for hunters. They have been developing and producing innovative backpacking and camping equipment, optics, and recently are pioneering a new category called “personal power”, which includes power storage devices and flexible solar panels for adventurers.

The company bearing his name still develops products using that same old philosophy. From their headquarters in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming, they live the outdoor lifestyle and lend their experience to every single product they produce. With a longstanding and remarkable tradition of innovation and passion for the outdoors, the Brunton Co. is a brand built on authenticity. It is evident not only in the products they manufacture, but in those who make them and identify the culture as their own. At Brunton, they embrace the outdoor lifestyle with their entire heart.
Their new hunting scopes provide ample light for a clear, bright image thus allowing the hunter to cut through the distractions and focus on the prize. Excellent eye-relief and a fast-focus eye piece give you options on-the-fly, while their fully broadband multi-coated lenses deliver you the advantage in the field. And because the field can be a rough one, all of their rifle scopes are water, fog, and shockproof, making them perfect for any given condition.

Each scope in their variable series offers features unique to your needs. From their fast focus eyepieces, to the fast acquisition reticle, each scope is tailored for your experience. When consistency counts, simplicity is critical. Their fixed power rifle scopes deliver a crisp image with an outstanding field-of-view time and time again. From the powerful to the compact and simple, these rock-solid rifle scopes feature shockproof construction with a discreet matte black finish. Neither water nor fogs are factors for these tightly sealed one piece aluminum tube rifle scopes. Each scope is backed by their lifetime warranty to ensure you have a rifle scope you can trust, consistently. And the scopes that feature the ballistic reticle are popular with long range shooters and hunters as well. With practice, ballistics reticle will provide a higher level of confidence and more accurate long range shooting than ever before.

Does anyone have prior experience with the Brunton NRA Sport Optics 3.5-10×50mm? I found a good deal on it at my local shop. Any info regarding it will be highly appreciated.

Re: Brunton Rifle Scopes

I don't have any particular experience with that particular Brunton scope, but I do have a NRA Sports Optics 1.5-5x20 that has served me well for 3 years. It's compact, bright and incredibly accurate on a Marlin 336. The elevation and windage corrections are of the metal click, fully audible type. The finish is very durable...I've moved it around on 3 different rifles, any even now rings marks are nearly non-existent. My only problem with the scope is the fast focus eyepiece. Over time it's become looser than I'd like, and will rotate on it's own just by coming into contact with my hunting coat/gear while carrying it at the ready.

I do believe there are a few user reviews at Opticsplanet.com. Favorable, if memory serves.
