Father Injured By Son In Hunting AccidentLocal emergency crews rushed over to Longridge Road in Plymouth on Saturday 16th at 2 p.m. Once they got there they found Carlton Franklin Jr., aged 46, with a gunshot wound to his chest. The witnesses of the unfortunate accident affirmed that Jackson and his son, Carlton Jackson the 3rd along with two other family members were getting back from a hunting expedition when the incident occurred.
They claimed that Jackson’s son was checking his .30-30 rifle when it accidently discharged, striking his father in the chest. Jackson was taken right away to the Washington County Hospital where he later was pronounced dead.
At this moment, nobody has been charged and there are no chargers pending at this moment.
