Model 84L Montana
The Kimber 84L Montana features a stainless steel barrel finished in satin silver, and has a sporter contour with six grooves and a match grade chamber. Achieving a weight of only 5 pounds was capable only with installing a very light Kevlar/carbon fiber stock finished in gray epoxy. This stock has a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad that is 1-inch thick and benefits from pillar and glass bedding. Other highlights of this rifle are the 3-position Model 70-type safety, along with the full-length Mauser claw and the front-locking repeater.
