Model 70 Extreme Weather
The Winchester Model 70 Extreme Weather Rifle comes standard with a Bell and Carlson composite stock that sports a textured charcoal gray matte finish not only for good appearances but also for improved grip in hard weather conditions. The felt recoil is significantly reduced by the Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad. The classic traditional three-position safety offers both on safe and fire positions plus a middle position that locks the firing pin but at the same time allowing the bolt to be operated which means that it provides a far greater margin of safety when checking the chamber or when unloading the gun.
