Model 12 Low Profile Varminter
The Low-Profile Varminter Rifle from Savage Arms has all the ingredients it needs for success. Equipped with the famous AccuTrigger which allows adjustment from 2.5 to 3.5 lbs, the Varminter also features a detachable four-round box magazine along with dual-pillar bedding. It is a joy to shoot this rifle thanks to its low-profile design and high level of accuracy. Made in the United States, the Varminter is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The oversized bolt handle of the rifle is easy to operate while wearing gloves.

I've been amazed by this shotgun - I can get < 2" accuracy out to 150 yards with sabot slugs, and that's as good as I can want. ...

Very good gun for the money even though older model 870's have a smoother action they were also heavier...
